This lot has been authenticated by the Findlay Institute and will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of Constantin Kluge, currently underway.

Condition Report
Framed: 32 x 43 1/2 inches.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; recto painting on canvas was laid to board by the artist, board had been previously painted on by the artist and a stretcher was placed over the verso painting when the canvas was stretched. Recto painting on canvas has stable drying craquelures scattered throughout surface; one pinpoint brown stain in upper center; one small paint loss in center; small area of paint losses along extreme lower right edge. Verso painting on board has moderately yellowed varnish; one pinpoint paint loss in center. Additional images available upon request.
