An Italian Painted and Gilt Marble-Top Console Table

Circa 1800

Height 32 1/4 x width 56 3/4 x depth 21 inches.

Condition Report

Sturdy and attractive condition. Scattered wormholes throughout and minor scuffs and flake chips commensurate with age. Heavier wear and paint/gilt loss around the feet. The marble top without repair, but some paint scratches and dirty discolorations around the top. The gilding probably refreshed in the 20th century. A few old chips on the edge of the marble top.
