A Henri II Style Carved Walnut Armchair with Green Leather and Mohair Upholstery
18th Century and Later
Height 45 x width 28 x depth 23 inches.
Property from a Private Collection, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Condition Report
Sturdy and usable condition; walnut surfaced with a polished patina. The seat is velvet (possibly mohair) while the back is synthetic leather. There are no noticeable significant repairs; a few chips and scuffs to edges of carved details on the back, around the feet. Likely constructed in the 20th century using some 18th century parts.
