A Napoleon III Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Marquetry Marble-Top Cabinet

Late 19th Century

Height 38 1/2 x width 49 x depth 16 1/2 inches.

Condition Report

Stable and attractive condition. Marble top with flake chips at edges but no breaks. Has some small nicks to marble top. Worn finish on the upper projecting edge of the front. Vertical crack to veneer along proper right side. Loss to gilding along right edge of top. Shrinkage to one of the back panels. The interior shelves have watermarks and an area of lost veneer.
