A Pair of Giltwood Mirrors with Eagles
19th Century
Height of each 62 x 23 inches.
Property from the Collection of Maria Perry, Lexington, Kentucky
Condition Report
Original glass with replaced backing. Mostly original gilding, with some touch ups. Eagle on one with repaired break at base, glue visible. Other crest with several repairs to eagle and ribbons, and a stable break to proper left where crest meets frame. Both frames with dirt, losses and wear to gilding and age splits consistent with age.
