Lot Description
An Iron-Red and Underglaze Blue Porcelain Vase, Yuhuchunping
QIANLONG PERIOD (1735-1796)
清乾隆 青花釉里红花果紋玉壺春瓶
the rounded pear shaped body tapering to a waisted neck beneath a flaring mouth rim, all supported by a wide straight foot ring. The body painted in a dichromatic palette to show three evenly spaced fruiting branches between a petal lappet band at the base, the neck worked with plantain leaves above a band of ruyi heads and c scrolls; incised to the underside with a six character mark in underglaze blue.
