Lot Description
Four Chinese Carved Glass Bowls
18TH-19TH CENTURY
晚清-民國 粉料花鳥紋碗三件及寶石紅料團龍紋碗
the first an opaque pink bowl with deep sides rising above a straight foot to a flaring mouth rim, carved to the exterior with scenes of the immortal Li Tieguai at ease in a landscape. The second opaque pink bowl of conical form, supported above a straight foot, and deeply carved to the exterior with a scene of egrets and magpies roosting in chrysanthemum and prunus sprays. The third a translucent magenta toned example, carved to the flaring sides with continuous floral sprays, the foot slightly splayed. The final of transparent crushed cranberry tone, the rounded walls rising form a splayed sectioned foot, and culminating in a thin slightly everted mouth rim, the exterior deeply carved with four evenly spaced roundels of alternating dragon and phoenix.
