[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate tintype of Union bandsman with horn, posed in front of Benton Barracks studio backdrop. [St. Louis, Missouri]: n.p., [1860s].

Sixth plate tintype (a touch dark, strong clarity and contrast.) Housed in full pressed paper case (reinforced at hinge). 

A full-standing view of an army bandsman placing his hand on the bell of his instrument. The subject stands in front of a stylized patriotic backdrop, possibly Benton Barracks in St. Louis, Missouri.
