Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate ambrotype of young Union soldier holding rifle with fixed bayonet.
Sixth plate hand-tinted ambrotype. (Light spotting, perimeter somewhat darkened.) Housed in patriotic pressed paper case, Eagle in Flight [Berg 4-25] (hinge split and rebacked, chips to edges).
