Civil War partial stereoview capturing soldiers' private moment.
2 5/8 x 2 7/8 in. albumen photograph on yellow stereoview mount split in half (soiling throughout, lower right and upper left corners creased, left edge of mount torn). Verso features crossed out Boehl & Koenig imprint along with pencil inscription reading, "Operations of the / Army of the Tennessee." Five subjects are featured squatting as if to defecate, including three whose bare backsides are visible in the image.
