A Collection of John A. Adams Sand Art Bottles, Along with Custom Box and Unused Bottle
thirteen total including a Western railroad landscape bottle, the top labeled CMSTP&P dated 1933,
a large triple portrait bottle dated 1967,
a landscape bottle depicting the Prairie du Chien bridge, dated 1933 and with a patriotic motif to back,
a bottle depicting the raising of the flag on Iwo Jima, dated 1967 and with a single portrait,
a 1933 bottle titled 'Not So Fast', with a floral motif,
a double portrait bottle dated 1965,
a 1933 bottle with a soldier,
a geometric and floral decorated bottle,
and an FDR portrait bottle dated 1933,
along with four unsigned bottles.
Lot also includes two empty bottles, Adams' travel box with two California state fair ribbons, an advertisement and newspaper clippings.
Height of largest bottle 10 1/2 inches.
