Condition:
Framed: 27 1/4 x 39 inches.
Canvas is lined; minor deposits of dirt and dust; stretcher bar lines around image perimeter; network of craquelures visible throughout surface; minor diagonal abrasion in center left, within rocks, approximately 1/2" in length; minor frame abrasion scattered along all edges; areas of overcleaning visible in rocks below dog laying down, with gesso showing through; vertical repaired tear with visible inpainting in center left, in upper rock; pinpoint white stains in left-most sheep and above extended hoof of right-most sheep; an approximately 3" length area of lifting paint visible along lower center edge under frame lip. Under UV light, two 1 x 1" areas of inpainting in upper center and upper right corner within sky; a 1/2 x 1/2" area of inpainting in distant trees in center right; scattered inpainting in all sheep; pinpoint white dots visible only under UV light in lower right corner; overcleaned areas visible along lower left edge and in rock below dog laying down.
