An Egyptian Polychrome Wood Ptah-Sokar-Osiris
Ptolemaic Period, 304-30 B.C.
Height 25 3/4 inches (65 cm).

Condition Report
Chips and paint losses with exposed gesso and wood, as typical with an object of this age; surface wear throughout with minor chips or losses. Hairline surface crack to the reverse near the base, not affecting the overall stability. Restorations and repair to the plume (reattached, adhesive fluoresces under UV light). False beard seemingly reattached with old hairline crack. Minor gash to the proper left above eyebrow. Original trace minerals in paint detectable. Affixed to a red velvet and wood base, accompanied by a lucite case. Height with stand 28 1/4 inches (21 cm).
