Lot Description
MCPHERSON & OLIVER, photographers. CDV of thatched house in Houma, LA. [New Orleans, LA: ca 1860s].

3 1/4 x 2 1/4 in. albumen photograph on cardstock mount (image and mount with some surface soiling). McPherson & Oliver's pictorial imprint on verso. Three men wearing civilian clothing are visible in the image, including one many sitting in the doorway of the house, one standing near an outer corner of the house, and one man standing off to the side with his horse. 

It has been suggested that one of the subjects is a soldier, but we are unable to confirm this.
