Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. A group of 25 stereoviews, highlighted by images of the US Navy Yard, Washington, DC, incl. monitors, and cannon, and views of St. Augustine, Florida. 

Six (6) views "By the Florida Club" of a Spanish cathedral (1), Old Fort San Marco (4) and Scenes on the Oclawaha River (1).

Two views of the Museum of Ordnance, Navy Yard. One published by Roberts & Fellows, Philadelphia, PA, the other unmarked. Four other views of the Navy Yard, two published by Kilburn Brothers, Littleton, N.H., one by Bell & Bro, Washington, and the fourth by Rodgers & Co., Washington. Four views of monitors at the Navy Yard, two captured rebel ships ("Stonewall" and a cigar steamer) and two views of monitors at the Yard. Two views of ordnance stacked high at the Navy Yard. Four views of cannons lined up to put on ships. Two show broken 15 inch guns. One view of men loading a large cannon (with hand-colored grass), Fort Corcoran, VA. A second view of Fort Corcoran and the aqueduct bridge. Plus one view of M.G. Fitzhugh Lee on his horse.
