[SLAVERY & ABOLITION]. Manuscript inventory of plantation property and enslaved individuals from the estate of John Reid, Madison County, KY, 31 August 1859.
1p, 7 7/8 x 11 7/8 in. Creased, with some discoloration and ink bleeding, minor wear to edges and corners. Undersigned by multiple parties. Docketed verso, 9 February 1860. Inventory lists 4 enslaved women, one with a child. Listed values range from $200 for an "old negro woman" to $900 for a woman of unspecified age.
