Lot Description
A Pair of Famille Rose Porcelain Ovoid Jars and Covers 
LATE 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY
晚清-民國 粉彩博古圖冬瓜罐一對
each of baluster form with broad shoulders, the slightly tapering walls finely painted with bogu motif depicting flower-filled vases, scholar's objects and bronze incense burner, the flat, circular cover decorated with similar designs, topped with an iron red glazed bud-form finials, the underside bearing an apocryphal Qianlong iron red seal mark. 
Height 9 in., 23 cm.
Condition Report
Each jar in overall decent condition with some chipping along the interior rim, each finial with just a few small loss of glaze.
