Lot Description
A Pair of Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Ginger Jars with Pierced Wood Lids and Stands
19TH CENTURY
each decorated primarily with a continuous scene of flowers issuing from rockery, the mouth rings with bamboo cartouches, and surmounted by a finely reticulated hardwood stand with a ovoid finial.
Height of jar 9 1/2 in., 24.1 cm.

Condition Report
Both jars in overall very good condition. Light surface scratches. Pitting to the glaze. One jar with a short firing crack on the mouth rim, the other jar with a chip to the foot. Hardwood covers and stands also in good condition.
