Condition Report
Intact as preserved. Surface wear typical of age; chips, pitting, and abrasions with minor encrustations and earthen deposits throughout. The exterior edges around the border are uneven and rough, with some areas smoothed and rounded with age. The orange-red pigment is still visible on the ox. Old inventory number reading "142" on verso of fragment in black pigment; inventory label on base reading "LIM.REL.127 29002." Two holes have been drilled to accommodate a modern metal base, which seems to be permanently affixed. Fine, stable and attractive condition overall. Copy of original receipt available upon winning bid.
