Lot Description

Condition Report
In overall fine and stable condition.  Appears to retain a fairly even patina and finish throughout, with traces of a darker color in areas. The feet, previously fitted with castors.  Old scuffs, marks, scratches and traces of residue consistent with age and use.  Few age cracks visible throughout. The leaves and center of the top appear to be original to each other, though this early top may be an early marriage to the base, this is evidenced by the underside of the top showing old peg holes that do not align with the top of the base.  There is a slight dip/warp to the center board, running through its length, and each leaf is very slightly warped due to shrinkage. Later slats added to the underside of each leaf, likely to prevent any further warping. Small triangular loss to the end block of one of the side stretchers at the junction of the lower left block, it is on the bottom inside corner, so not visible when table is properly set.
Overall width 68 1/4 inches.
