A Pair of Blue and White Porcelain General Jars and Covers
Kangxi Period (1662-1722)
清康熙 青花童子圖將軍罐一對
of baluster form with rounded shoulders, the main panel painted to depict roundels enclosing boys above prunus and crackled ice grounds, interspersed with hanging bats bearing flower heads suspending ribbon-tied chime, all between a large band of ruyi heads to the shoulder and a row of overlapping leaves, the neck painted with floral scrolls, the underside incised with an apocryphal Chenghua four-character mark in underglaze blue, each with a rosewood cover.

Condition Report
One example with two shallow spider firing cracks the interior shoulder, the other with one. The covers each with various looses and later components as shown in additional photos available upon request.
