A Pair of Italian Grotto Style Carved Giltwood Pedestal Console Tables

having glass tops.

Base, height 36 1/4 x width 49 x depth 18 1/l2 inches; glass top: 60 x 16 1/4 inches.

Condition Report

The pair are in good and stable condition. The shell-form supports at the top (where the glass rests) appear to be resin. The gesso and gilt decoration in this area is flaking. The rest of the table is giltwood and has only minor instances of rubbing to the gilt decoration. The glass tops have small scratches, consistent with use.
