Lot Description

A Louis XV Provincial Style Carved Fruitwood Writing Table

19th Century

Height 30 1/4 x width 41 1/2 x depth 25 1/4 inches.

Condition Report

The table has numerous old scratches to the top surface, under the current finish. One side apron has an area of missing scrollwork border, and the apron on the long lengths has signs of what appears to be water damage. The carving on the outside has some loss of patina. The legs are in good condition but do show signs of old worm damage, as do other parts of the table. From the underside one can see that the table has been reworked.
