Lot Description
Two George III Silver Covered Entrée Dishes 
London, Early 19th Century
each with an engraved shield crest and griffon knops; each cover and one base marked for Paul Storr, dating to 1805-1806, the second base marked for William Burwash and William Sibley, dating to 1810-1811.
each bearing maker's marks, the latter further incised 'No. 7/ 64.. 8' to underside

Height overall of larger 7 1/2 inches.
Condition Report
Both dishes are beautiful and present well. There are light scratches consistent with age and use throughout.  
One of the lids is lacking a section of beading around the finial measuring approximately 3 inches. There are a few tiny dents and small areas of pitting around the rim. 
The other lid is in good condition throughout, with a few tiny pits and very minor dents around the rim. 
The Paul Storr base has scratches from serving utensils on the interior surface consistent with age and use, and with a few small unobtrusive dents to the sides. The underside has light scratches. 
The William Burwash and William Sibley base has light scratches to the interior and exterior bases. There is an unobtrusive dent to the underside that is not visible on the interior.
