Condition Report
By repute, the piece was imported by the current owner from Sweden. The piece presents well and has been fitted for modern conveniences, most likely a media center. The piece will be accompanied by a working key that fits the locks on the upper and lower cases. There are cord holes drilled into the back of both the upper and lower cabinets.
The lower case has been fitted with custom pull-out shelves. The doors open and close properly.
The upper case has been fitted with custom shelves. The mechanism securing the left door closed has been replaced with wires (see photographs). The left door rubs against the mid-molding when it is opened and closed. The upper case needs to be secured to the wall and attached to the lower case for safety; the weight of both doors open causes the upper case to fall forward. The hardware on the upper case appears to have been replaced at some point, as have the glazing (the interior mullions appear to have contemporary glazing compound).
