A Berlin (K.P.M.) Porcelain Plaque After Gustav Wertheimer
19th Century
signed Wagner (lower left), bearing an impressed K.P.M. scepter mark and numbered 815 233, inscribed Wellenkuss/Wertheimer / (Kiss of the waves) and Julius Greiner John, painter / Lauscha Thür. / Germany in iron red script and inscribed Brought over on S.S. Lusitania April 9th, 1910 in pencil to the reverse.
10 1/8 x 12 1/4 inches (sight).

Condition Report
Frame: 18 x 20 3/8 inches. In overall good, stable condition. The porcelain is free of any restorations or losses. The glaze retains vibrant color. Sturdy frame, in ready to hang condition, with attractive, slightly aged gilt finish. No condition issues to note.
