Condition Report
The upper portion of the lamp post is detached where it meets the base. They fit flush together, but are not stable and would probably need to be solder-repaired or otherwise reinforced; the neck cannot currently support the weight of the shade. The sockets and wiring also likely need to be replaced. The base in otherwise attractive condition, with some areas of oxidation visible to the underside, but the body having a rich, fairly even patina. The shade is in stable, attractive condition, exhibiting faint hairline cracks to the interior sides of some glass segments, but no damage or losses visible to the exterior. The cap is likely not original, as it does not fit flush with the opening at the top of the shade, but should be able to support the shade once the base is repaired. Additional photos available upon request. (Please note some photos depict the shade placed on a different lamp base; this is for the purpose of illustrating the shade when illuminated.)
