A Maya Polychrome Cylinder Vessel
Classic Period, Circa 650 to 850 A.D.
Height 4 7/8 inches (12.4 cm).

Condition Report
Inspected under UV light, 10x loupe, and acetone tested. Possible restorations or infill to the body which fluoresce under UV light; repair to break/crack on the body. Other areas of overpaint or enhancement throughout that lift with acetone. Overall surface wear with abrasions, hairline surface cracks, discoloration, encrustations, and chipping (particularly to the rim); minor areas of loss to paint/surface. See additional photos for repairs and restoration. Overall in fine and stable condition.
