Folio (23 1/2 x 29 1/4 in.), each 4 pages, 318 issues (incomplete) numbering: First volume: Vol. 76, No. 4, 1 July 1864 - Vol. 76, No. 159, 31 December 1864 (lacking No. 153); Second volume: Vol. 76, No. 160, 2 January 1865 - Vol. 76, No. 316, 3 July 1865 (2 copies of No. 254, 21 April 1865); Vol. 77, No. 4, 4 July 1865 - Vol. 77, No. 7, 8 July 1865; with 2 issues from the Cincinnati Weekly Gazette, Vol. 73, Nos. 5 & 6, 12 & 19 July 1865. (Toning, old creases, soiling.) Contemporary one-quarter diced morocco with 2 black morocco spine labels gilt (joints starting, heavy scuffs); each housed in wooden box.

With extensive war coverage, including the conclusion of the war and Lincoln's assassination.

Folio, each 4 pages,122 issues (incomplete) numbering: Vol. 1 No. 17, 12 March 1864 - Vol. II No. 7, 9 February 1865 (with irregular numbering, for a complete collation is available upon request). Contemporary one-quarter calf with marbled boards, 2 black morocco spine labels gilt (scuffs). With extensive Civil War content.

[Also with:] The Lancaster Gazette. Lancaster, OH, 1866-1867. Folio, each 4 pages, 95 issues (incomplete) numbering: Vol. 6, No. 48, 22 February 1866 - Vol. 8, No. 38, 12 December 1867. (Heavy toning, tears with occasional repairs.) Contemporary one-quarter calf with marbled boards (detached front board only).
