Condition Report
Unframed.
Moderate deposits of surface dirt and dust; the varnish is somewhat tacky and as a result, there are with scattered areas of adhered debris; one vertical abrasion line extends through the right side of the black circle; one horizontal abrasion line extends through the left side of the circle; evidence of liquid droplets in upper field of black circle, as well as finger prints in the left of the circle, only visible in raking light; one pinpoint paint loss along center left edge; one localized area of pinpoint paint losses along center right edge; the bracket system holding the two panels together is somewhat unstable. Not examined under UV light.
The work is composed of two canvases connected on the back with metal hardware and screws. This could possibly be disassembled for transport but we would recommend discussing disassembly of the work with a fine art shipper.
