A Pair of Hardwood Folding Armchairs, Jiaoyi

硬木交椅一對
each has a round toprail continuing in a curve to the arms terminating in the outswept ends, each arm supported by the hooked upper extension of the front leg suspending a long spandrel, the crook with copper sheath and copper braces joining the leg extension to the upper leg, the backsplat carved with lotus and openwork ruyi-head.

Height overall 40 x width 22 x depth 25 in., 101.6 x 55.9 x 63.5 cm.
