Hanau, 18th/19th Century
having a gold cage-work decorated body, the lid with a script band reading 'Souvenir d'Amitie' with a bundled foliate banded rim, the lid opening to a fitted compartment with fourteen tools present.
with French prestige marks of a harrow, two olive leaves and a crowned letter 'J' on flange of body

Condition Report
In good, stable condition. The hardstone case appears intact without cracks or loses. The scent bottle with a repaired break to base. Lacking one tool (likely a bodkin) on interior. Additional images available upon request.
