Condition Report
In overall decent, stable, attractive condition. The hinge-pin likely replaced, lid opens and closes completely but requires slightly more force than expected to open and close. The lid with very slight separation from sides of lid, but does not largely detract from aesthetic of box. The enameling appears largely intact with only a few very light flakes to Corinthian capital motifs on side of lid. Examination under UV light shows areas of fluorescence to enamel on lid in upper right corner between outer border and portrait border suggestion minor restoration, more obvious restoration to enamel along back columnar motifs and along white enamel banding on base of sides near back of case.
