Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. Quarter plate tintype of two officers from Pennsylvania.

Quarter plate portrait of two officers seated before a painted backdrop, each holding his cap in his lap. (Good clarity, few blemishes to edges; unsealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (surface wear). Visible on the cap of the bearded officer on the left is a bugle insignia with an indiscernible character below, possibly an "I." The officer on the right is undoubtedly a company level second lieutenant, based on his shoulder straps.
