Lot Description
[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate tintype of armed Union infantry private.
2 5/8 x 3 1/8 in. tintype full standing portrait of a soldier in full uniform and holding his bayonetted rifle upright. (Some notable dark spots throughout, with particular area of blemish and possible oxidation to right of subject's weapon; unsealed.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case.
