4to. (Some toning and spotting.) Contemporary calf, manuscript label on spine (some rubbing).

Though both works are attributed to Bacon there is significant dispute about authorship, in particular The Use of the Law, which was first printed by Sir John Doddridge as the second part of The Lawyer's Light. ESTC S100352.
