Lot Description

ANTIQUE, CONVERTIBLE, DIAMOND AND PEARL TIARA/NECKLACE

Consisting of a tiara containing 34 old European cut diamonds weighing approximately 6.00-7.00 carats total and 15 pearls (origin not tested) measuring approximately 3.00-3.90 mm in diameter, with removable frame allowing the top to be removed and hung from a chain as a necklace. Mounted in silver and yellow gold.
Gross weight: 20.95 dwt.

Condition Report

Measurements: As a necklace element, it measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long. The tiara frame measures approximately 5 inches in diameter.

Overall Condition: Acid test indicates the metal is silver and 14 karat gold, however it is of the age where the components may be a combination of solid gold, rolled gold and gold wash. There is a break in the metal of the tiara frame and it is overall in poor condition. There is no chain included with the lot to attach to be worn as a necklace.
