FRENCH, ARCHAEOLOGICAL REVIVAL, YELLOW GOLD AND PORTRAIT MINIATURE SET

Consisting of a brooch containing a rectangular enameled plaque depicting a classical figure feeding a chimera above a plaque spelling HXIMAIPA, decorated in detailed granulation and wirework, together with a pair of matching earrings each containing a rectangular enameled plague depicting classical children. Brooch: 3 x 1 3/4 inches long. Earrings: 2 3/4 inches long.
Stamp: (French hallmarks)(obscured French maker's marks).
Gross weight: 26.20 dwt.

Condition Report

Measurements: The brooch measures approximately 3 x 1 3/4 inches and the earrings measure approximately 2 3/4 inches long.
Overall Condition: Acid test indicates 18 karat gold. There is moderate scratching to the metal consistent with age.
