A Continental Giltwood Side Table
Possibly German, Circa 1750
the top with later decoupage decoration.
Height 27 1/2 x width 21 1/2 x depth 14 1/2 inches.

Condition Report
The top simulates lacca povera but the construction does not appear Italian. The top may have been a later addition when the whole table was redecorated. One foot with a glued repair. All four legs with seams visible which may be old repairs. Otherwise fine, sturdy conditoin with cracking and wear in the finish and some flaking.
