Condition Report

Measurements: The letter opener measures approximately 13 inches long.
Overall Condition: The watch sets but is not running at the time of cataloguing. There is a chip to the agate, discoloration and heavy scratching to the metal, some abrading to the lapis lazuli and wear to the dial consistent with age.

Our specialists were unable to open the case without risking further damage. Therefore, we do not know if the movement is signed.

Personal engraving: TO O.O. FROM JOE TOPLITZKY DECEMBER 25th 1928.

Please note that Hindman does not warranty the watch at the time of the auction or after its purchase. Potential buyers should be advised that though the watch may be running at the time of cataloging, it may stop running before the auction and servicing is recommended for all timepieces. The authenticity of individual parts is not guaranteed since repairs and restoration may have occurred. Hindman assumes all watches are unisex and does not specify the gender of a piece. For size reference, please see the case measurements of the piece listed under dimensions.
