Lot Description
A Régence Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Mahogany, Kingwood and Tulipwood Grand Piano
Gaveau, Paris, Late 19th Century
serial number 32638, further numbered 1046 on one of the underside beams.
Height 40 x width 57 1/2 x length 73 1/4 inches.

Condition Report
The case in overall decent, condition. Small area of replaced veneer on top edge of case, not noticeable when case is closed. One leg with a detached element where leg meets case, element retained. The keys are ivory with one ivory veneer missing from front of key. All the keys strike but three do not return when released. The soundboard with two age cracks.
