Lot Description
[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY - AFRICAN AMERICANA]. Half plate ambrotype of an African American family at a farm.

Half plate ambrotype. (Very good clarity and condition.) Housed in a full leather case (light edge and surface wear).  Depicts a meticulously maintained gothic style board and batten house with long covered porch. An African American man and several children visible, the man posed with a bull and milk cow.
