A Tairona Treasure Jar with Lid
Colombia, Circa 1000-1500 A.D.
Height 16 3/4 inches (42.55 cm).

Provenance: 
Stephen Kramer Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
[Parts of this collection are featured in A. Labbe, Colombia Before Columbus, 1986 and is a significant part of the Pre-Columbian art collection at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.]
Jeffrey Norris (b. 1955), Georgia, acquired from the above in the early 2000s.

Condition Report
Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Some hairline cracks and chips present. Areas of encrustation and two notable holes to body. Overall in fine and stable condition. See additional images.
