A Roman Bronze Boss with the Head of a Satyr
Circa 2nd-3rd Century A.D.
Width 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm).

Condition Report
Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Weathering to nose and horns. Notable loss to rounded area above and below head. Some adhesive present on proper left surface. Boss is glued to white painted wood surface. Slight olive and malachite patination mostly at top of head. Overall in fine and stable condition. See additional images.
