A French Shagreen Table Lamp

Circa 1940s

Height overall 25 inches.

Condition Report

The lamp appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. The lamp base having a few minor nicks and scrapes at the edges and one small ding to one of the upper corners. Some of the finish is peeling away on the top of the lamp's base. The shagreen appears in good condition with natural variation as is to be expected. The lamp was plugged into a room with electronically-controlled lighting systems, and thus does not have an on/off switch. It must be modified to be switched.
