Condition Report
Framed: 23 1/2 x 19 1/4 inches.
In overall fine and stable condition. Even craquelure throughout, with visible frame abrasions to edges of canvas. Two small patches applied to verso, one of which partially obscures signature. Patches correspond to areas of inpainting visible under UV light examination, with few additional areas to background and two spots of fluorescence on face. Mastic varnish inscribed in pencil to stretcher, suggestive of treatment from previous restoration. Scratches and minor areas of finish loss throughout frame.
