A Collection of Three English Wine Glasses
First Half 18th Century
comprising an example with a rounded funnel bowl engraved with a Lily of the Valley and raised on a plain elongated stem ending in a folded foot, the second example with a flared-conical bowl and raised on an elongated stem encasing a single teardrop ending in a conical foot, the third example with a flared-conical bowl and raised on a plain stem with a central tear decorated knop and ending in a domed foot.
Height of tallest 7 1/8 inches.

Condition Report
The glasses appear in good condition. The Lilly of the Valley example having an air bubble at the surface of the lip and a few scattered bubbles near the base of the bowl and stem. Light shelf wear to the underside of the folded foot rim.

The flared example encasing the teardrop having scattered air bubbles throughout. The foot with minor surface residue; would benefit from a sympathetic cleaning. The underside of the foot with a chip at the edge and a few minute fleabites. Surface scratches commensurate with age and gentle use.

The flared example with the single knop stem having scattered surface scratches and minor shelf wear to the underside. There are minute bubbles that are noticeable only upon close inspection of the glass. The foot sits very slightly off level.
