Circa 1750

the bell form bowl decorated with the biblical figures Jonathan and King David in embrace beneath the word 'Amicitæ' and surmounting a baluster stem with a three-ring knop at top and a round knop at base, the baluster with a teardrop decoration.

Height 6 7/8 inches.

Condition Report

Having a small triangular flake to exterior of base of bowl beneath Left-figures feet. A small air bubble from production on base of bowl to the left of the engraved scene, the bubble does not break through the surface but can be felt when finger is run on interior of bowl. Having a rough pontil. Additional images available upon request.
