Chanel Haute Couture Suit, 1960s

THE FIRST - JACKET 
Purple bouclé cardigan style jacket finished with woven purple trim, four patch pockets at the front with functioning buttonholes, the buttons are partially covered with self fabric. The purple silk cuffs are fully detachable. The back of the jacket is finished with heavy gold-tone chain.

Condition Report
Condition:

The overall condition of the set is good, signs of wear that are consistent with age, the purple cord trim has a popped seam at the center back of the jacket. There are small scattered holes at the top lining of the jacket, minor discoloration to the lining and detachable cuffs. The skirt lining has scattered holes and discoloration. The silk shell has minor discoloration at the top. The exterior of the suit is good condition with the exception of one small hole on the exterior of the skirt, located the front towards the top. One button has detached from jacket but is included.  

Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use.
