**Swedish Mauser Model 1896 Rifle

World War I

6.5x55mm Swiss. 29" barrel length. SN: 377902. Blued metal finish, with polished bolt. Walnut stock has a plain straight grip and forearm, with hand grooves, handguard, and single barrel band. Bolt action rifle with an adjustable folding notch rear sight and blade front sight. Item features an internal box magazine, double sling swivels, bayonet lug forend, brass stock disc, and slotted cleaning rod. Includes a clear plastic muzzle cover. Made by Carl Gustafs and dated 1916.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is somewhat frosty. Finish has thinned lightly to barrel and receiver, with scattered light scratches and sprinkled pit marks overall. Wood stock is in good condition, with scattered light scratches and mars, some light losses around heel of buttplate.
